Middletown, NJ - The NJ 87s, members of the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) are proud to announce that the NJ 87s EHL Premier team will participate in the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) Blaine Showcase in Blaine, Minnesota in September, 2019 as a guest team in the U18 division. The NAPHL Showcase is run in conjunction with the North American League (NAHL) Showcase and is the most scouted event by NCAA Division I schools, NCAA Division III schools and Tier 2 USA Hockey junior teams each season.

“The NAPHL is one of the premier midget leagues in North America and the NJ 87s are extremely excited to add this great event to the 2019-2020 schedule,” said Matthew Kiernan, owner and coach of the NJ 87s. “The NAPHL offers the highest level of exposure a midget and junior age player playing in North America can hope for, and we feel that this showcase is an ideal addition to our model, which focuses on player development and player advancement.”

The NJ 87s will also announce two more U18 showcase events as part of the NJ 87s Eastern Hockey League Premier team schedule for the 2019-2020 in the next few weeks.
