Off weekend 

EHLP-

The 87’s played a home and home with division rivals the New Jersey Renegades this weekend after falling to them last Monday. On Saturday Klim Khramtsov recorded his first career EHLP

Hat trick. Gabriel SantaMaria added 2 more of his own in the 7-2 win on the road.

On Sunday at home, the premier squad had its most dominant performance of the season topping the Renegades 15-3. Klim Khramtsov one-upped is performance with a 2nd hat trick in row and 2 assists. The 87’s added two more hat tricks as Gabe SantaMaria potted 4 for a 6 point night and Dominick Pearsall scored his first 3 87’s goals for a natural hat trick to cap off the scoring. But not lost in all the commotion, Ivan Boriosv became the EHL Premier’s all time leading goal scorer with his 83rd career goal with his second period tally. Frankie smith picked up the win in both contests stopping 60 of 65 shots between the two games.

The 87’s remain hot going 8-2 over their last 10 games. They will travel south this Saturday to face divisional foes the Little Flyers. Puck drop is 7pm. 

18U

The 87's 18U team traveled to Boston this weekend to take on the South Shore Kings, Islanders Hockey Club, and American Hockey Academy. On Saturday, the 18U team took down both the Islanders and Kings by scores of 7-3 and 3-2, respectively. On Sunday they dropped a close decision to American Hockey Academy, 2-1. Lochlin Jackson earned his first win with the 18U team since September 10th while Alex Insana recorded 62 saves on 67 shots, splitting games against the Islanders and AHA. The 18s scored 11 goals in their 3 games, led by 5 goals from the team's Kienzle-Bisel-Iannella line. Alex Haar contributed 2 goals while Owen Schultz and Brandon Rovito tallied their first goals of the season.

The 18s take on the Mercer Chiefs Premier and Prep teams this coming weekend at Ice Land Skating Center.
