Inside the 87's will provide a brand new, in-depth look at the organization

The New Jersey 87's will launch a weekly feature called "Inside the 87's," and will begin in the month of May.

This series will involve a wide variety of content including video logs, podcasts, player takeovers on social media and more. The content will provide a more in-depth look at both 87's teams following a stellar season that was cut short because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Head coach Adam Houli spoke about the upcoming series and what it means to provide fans with an insider view of the team, which was named the 2019-20 EHL Organization of the Year in the Mid-Atlantic Conference.

“I am super excited to give an inside look to our organization. I think it is vital for people outside our club to see how we work and to envision the life of an 87 both on and off the ice," Houli said. "Now more then ever there is a demand to be innovative and creative, and I think creating this program continues to show that the NJ 87's are always at the forefront in creating and delivering content.“

In addition to 87's broadcaster Anthony Di Paolo, the series will be led by Alyssa Morrison. The Toronto native is a graduate of Ryerson University and has prior experience creating digital content for Eastern Hockey League teams, including the 87's.

“I had a chance to meet Alyssa in the summer at a summer showcase where she was working with a team doing social media and I had watched her evolve into some great content work throughout the year," Houli said of Morrison. "I am happy she is going to be a part of this as our Interactive Content Manager. She is very determined, creative and ambitious, combine that with Anthony, I think the NJ 87's has the best off ice hockey operations in the league and country.“

The series will start on May 11, and fans can follow along on Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
