The Eastern Hockey League "EHL" has announced a new tier system for the 2017-2018 year.  As the top tier 3 junior league under USA Hockey, the EHL has further strengthened its commitment to the Ladder of Development outlined by USA Hockey. The NJ 87s will be proud members of the Premier Division and will look to continue the trend of moving players up in development.

The New Jersey 87's organization is committed to developing and producing student-athletes with aspirations of advancing to collegiate levels of hockey through a "hands on" approach from mites to juniors. Through dedication and commitment from both player and coach, the players are taught the importance of education, nutrition and off-ice training needed to be successful both on and off the ice.
